Sardinia encompasses a range of diverse faces, from the stereotyped yachting elite of the fabled Costa Smeralda to the simple shepherd’s society of the mountainous interior. This tour will show both aspects of this beautiful island. Expect a dramatic variety of sceneries: from glorious beaches and rocky groves on every coast to the forested mountains and the wild “macchia” that carpets the interior which accounts for a rich diversity of wildlife. Starting from the Costa Smeralda, on the north-east tip of Sardinia the tour developes westwards to end in Alghero, probably the most beautiful town of the island. Breathtaking views and variety of scenery are guaranteed!
Welcome briefing and handing over of rental bicycles only on Saturdays at 5 pm. On any other days you will find the travel documents and bicycles deposited in your arrival hotel.
